The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, a unique gaming experience, is officially recognized as a '1&2 Pack' by publisher Aniplex and developers Too Kyo Games and Media.Vision. This revelation comes as a surprise to many, as the game's structure has been in place since its 2025 launch. The '1&2 Pack' contains two distinct games: The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, which covers the first 100 days of a player's school life, and The Hundred Line 2, which follows the next 100 days. This dual-game approach is a clever way to enhance the player's journey, offering a comprehensive and immersive experience. To celebrate this announcement, Too Kyo Games unveiled a new artwork by Rui Komatsuzaki, adding a touch of visual appeal to the game's physical edition. The artwork is featured on a special slipcase, available exclusively in Japan through the Aniplex Online Store and Amazon Japan. The physical edition will be released on April 24, marking the game's first anniversary. An upcoming update will allow players to seamlessly start The Hundred Line 2 without needing to complete the first game, providing a flexible and engaging gameplay experience. This update will also introduce a 'Chapter Select' feature, enabling players to navigate through different dates and paths, aiming for all 100 possible endings. Additionally, Aniplex is set to release the 'The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy Original Soundtrack' on January 17, featuring 112 tracks. A physical 'Director's Edition' containing 88 tracks, curated by composer Mas afumi Takada, will be available in Japan on April 24. The game is currently available for Switch and PC via Steam, and players can expect further exciting announcements from Too Kyo Games on January 16, hinting at a potential event in 100 days. The 'Next 100 Days' trailer is a must-watch, offering a glimpse into the game's captivating narrative.
