According to a report from The Eagle-Tribune, Harrison consulted with UFC doctors in New York last weekend, who recommended the procedure.
The fight was set to be a co-main event at UFC 324 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It was scheduled under an interim lightweight title fight between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett.
